Let's Make This Fall an Adventure

Cub Scouts is at its best when families are involved. Parents help make the adventures, friendships, and new skills possible, whether by lending a hand at an event, helping with a fundraiser, or sharing an idea. Every contribution matters, and you don’t need Scouting experience to get involved.

Please join us for our upcoming parent meeting on October 7th at 6:30 PM. We’ll discuss popcorn sales, our wreath and holiday greenery fundraiser, and the fall program, including the fall campout. It’s a chance to hear what’s ahead, ask questions, and find a way to participate that works for your family. We hope to see you there!

📅 Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 PM
📍 Grace UMC Sanctuary — 1245 Heights Blvd

Don’t forget to sign up for Spond! It’s how our Pack shares announcements, event details, and updates throughout the year. We ask every family to join so you don’t miss anything.

A reminder about Pack Dues: the total for the year is $140, paid in two installments of $70. The first installment is due October 1, 2026, and the second and final installment is due in January. Thank you for helping us plan a great year for our Scouts!

Trail’s End Popcorn Sales

Why We Sell Popcorn: Trail's End Fundraising

Every fall, Pack 1138 kicks off its Trail's End popcorn sale - and it's one of the most important things we do as a Pack all year.

Popcorn sales aren't just about snacks. They're how we fund our entire Scouting program. Proceeds go directly toward Pack activities, campouts, den meeting supplies, awards, and equipment - all the things that make Scouting fun and hands-on for our kids. The better we do, the more we can offer throughout the year without raising dues on families.

It's also a great learning experience for our Scouts. Selling popcorn teaches goal-setting, communication, and basic entrepreneurship - real skills, wrapped in a fun fall tradition.

Every Scout who participates helps the whole Pack succeed. Whether your family sells door-to-door, sets up a storefront booth, or shares an online link with friends and relatives, every sale makes a difference.

Thank you for supporting your Scout and our Pack this popcorn season!

Wreath and Holiday Greenery Sales

Why We Sell Wreaths and Holiday Greenery: Sherwood Forest Farms Fundraising

Each fall, Pack 1138 sells wreaths and holiday greenery through Sherwood Forest Farms. It’s a festive way to share a little holiday cheer while supporting our Scouts.

Proceeds help fund Pack activities, campouts, meeting supplies, awards, and equipment. The more we raise together, the more adventures we can offer while keeping costs manageable for families.

The fundraiser also gives Scouts a chance to practice setting goals, talking with customers, and working as a team. Whether your family reaches out to neighbors, friends, or relatives, every sale helps the whole Pack.

Wreaths and greenery also make thoughtful gifts for family, friends, and neighbors. Sharing the fundraiser with people who may already be decorating for the holidays is an easy way to invite them to support the Pack.

Thank you for supporting our Scouts this holiday season!
